I'm always amazed at how people think of all this great ideas!
I love how the message of the illustration is that the brain contains boundless of knowledge!

This is also traditional art and you executed it very well and cleanly!
I love the overall value of the artwork!

Wowwowow, this is a very amazing pencil drawing! The shading is absolutely fantastic and the hair looks amazing.
The concept is very interesting and it's executed quite well. The composition is also done very well. I love the look on her face, the way she's looking off into the distance with that knowing smile.
One thing you could improve upon is the shape of the face; it looks a tad long.

Overall though this is wonderful; you're very talented!

Thank you for your thoughtful feedback. I agree completely with you about the face, the reference photo I was using was a bit weird and I stuck with it rather then trusting my gut and editing as I went. I'll keep your advice in mind next portrait! :D (Big Grin)

I block out the general shapes the hair makes, then shade in where the light and darks are a few shades lighter then what the actual color needs to be then do the line work. I don't know if it's how most people do it but it the easiest for me!:D (Big Grin)
